SHIFRA Privacy Policy

Last updated · September 8, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how SHIFRA (the “App”), a single-player sensory puzzle game for Android published under the package name app.shifra.game, handles your information.

The App is operated by Sollabs Technology FZ-LLC, a Free Zone Limited Liability Company registered with the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone Authority (RAKEZ), United Arab Emirates. Registered address: FDBC5800, Compass Building, Al Shohada Road, Al Hamra Industrial Zone-FZ, Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates.

The short version

SHIFRA itself collects nothing about you. There is no account, no analytics, no in-app purchases, and your game progress never leaves your device. The App is free and supported by advertising, and the advertising provider processes some device data to show ads. That is the only data processing connected to the App, and it is described in full below.

Information the App itself collects

None. SHIFRA has no login, registration, or account system, no in-app purchases, and no analytics or crash-reporting SDKs of its own. We do not receive, store, or have access to any information about you or your device.

Information stored on your device

The App saves your run locally using Android’s standard app storage:

  • Your position in the current run and the shuffle seed that determines its order
  • Which vaults you have opened, how many hints you used on each, and an optional best time
  • A snapshot of the vault you are in the middle of, so you can resume where you left off
  • Whether you have seen the onboarding pages
  • Your settings, such as whether vibration is on

None of this identifies you. It never leaves your device, and nobody, including us, can read it.

Advertising

The App shows ads served by Google AdMob (Google LLC). Ads are the only part of the App that uses the internet: the game itself is fully playable offline, and when there is no connection, no ads are shown and no data is sent anywhere. To select, deliver, and measure ads, Google’s advertising SDK may collect and process device data, including:

  • Device identifiers, such as the Android advertising ID
  • Coarse, IP-based location (such as country or city, never precise GPS location)
  • Device and technical information (device model, operating-system version, mobile network, screen properties)
  • Ad interaction data (which ads were shown, viewed, or tapped) and diagnostic data about ad delivery

This data is sent to and processed by Google under its own privacy terms:

Your choices about ads

  • Personalized vs. non-personalized ads. Where required by law (for example in the EEA and UK), you will be asked for consent before personalized ads are shown, and you can decline. The App then shows non-personalized ads, which rely on contextual information rather than your ad profile.
  • Reset or delete your advertising ID. In Android settings (Settings → Google → Ads on most devices), you can reset your advertising ID or delete it, which limits ad personalization across all apps.
  • Withdrawing consent. You can change a consent choice you made in the App at any time from the App’s settings (this option appears where a consent form applies to you, such as in the EEA and UK).

We do not receive any of the data collected by the advertising SDK in identifiable form. We only see aggregated reporting (for example, how many ads were shown).

Who we share information with

We do not sell personal information, and the App gives us none to sell. The only third party that processes data in connection with the App is:

Data processed by Google may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, under safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses that Google offers.

Permissions

The App requests no runtime permissions. It does not access your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, or files. It uses the internet only to load ads. Vibration feedback uses the standard vibration capability and can be turned off in the App’s settings.

Children’s privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and ad serving is configured in line with Google Play’s family and advertising policies. If you believe a child’s data has been processed through the App’s advertising, you can exercise choices through Google’s tools linked above or contact us.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, or the UAE Personal Data Protection Law), you may have rights of access, correction, deletion, and objection over personal data processed about you. Because we hold no personal data ourselves, requests concerning advertising data are best directed to Google through the links above, but you can always contact us and we will help route your request. You will not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.

Data retention and deletion

We retain nothing, because nothing is ever sent to us. Your local game progress stays on your device until you uninstall the App, which deletes it, or until you start a new run from the App’s settings, which clears your progress while keeping your settings. Advertising data is retained by Google according to its own retention policies.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of SHIFRA changes how data is handled, for example a different ad provider or cloud saves, this page will be updated before that version is released, and the change will be reflected in the App’s Data safety declaration on Google Play. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
